De novo transcriptome of cave terrestrial isopod species Alpioniscus balthasari (Trichoniscidae). Animals were flash-frozen in liquid nitrogen. Total RNA from 3 individuals was isolated using a spin column-based commercial kit and RNA was additionally DNase treated. RNA from 3 individuals were pooled equimolary. A bead-based, poly(A) selection kit was used for the preparation of the libraries and the sequencing was carried out on the Illumina NovaSeq 6000 platform with a read length of 2x150 bb. The raw full-length reads were deposited in the NCBI Sequence Read Archive with the BioProject accession number PRJNA1056448 (Biosamples SAMN39098649, SAMN39098650, SAMN39098651). Species-specific de novo transcriptome was generated using Trinity software.
