Exploration of exhausted CD8 T cell markers to predict response to immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma

This study sought to identify transcriptomic and protein markers of T cell exhaustion that may predict response to anti-program cell death-1 (anti-PD-1) / anti-PD-L1-based ICI therapy for patients with advanced/metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The immune cell composition of archival HCC tumor who received ICI therapy was analyzed by transcriptomic analysis to identify markers of T cell exhaustion that best associated with treatment efficacy.

本研究旨在鉴定T细胞耗竭的转录组学与蛋白质标志物，以期预测晚期/转移性肝细胞癌（HCC）患者接受基于抗程序性细胞死亡蛋白1（anti-PD-1）/抗PD-L1的免疫检查点抑制剂（ICI）治疗的临床应答情况。本研究通过转录组学分析，对接受过ICI治疗的存档HCC肿瘤组织的免疫细胞构成进行解析，以筛选出与治疗疗效相关性最强的T细胞耗竭标志物。
