Genomic analysis of Mycobacterium tuberculosis from Shandong, China

China is identified as one of 30 high burden countries for TB and MDR-TB, with an incidence of 55 TB cases per 100,000 individuals in 2021. To characterize the diversity of Mtb circulating in Shandong, we sequenced the genomes of 1445 isolates obtained from Shandong Public Health Clinical Research Center (SPHCC) and Weifang Respiratory Clinical Hospital (WRDH) between January 2010 and December 2021.

中国被列为全球30个结核病（TB, Tuberculosis）及耐多药结核病（MDR-TB, Multidrug-resistant Tuberculosis）高负担国家之一，2021年结核病发病率为每10万人55例。为明确山东省境内流行的结核分枝杆菌（Mtb, Mycobacterium tuberculosis）的多样性特征，本研究对2010年1月至2021年12月期间，从山东省公共卫生临床研究中心（SPHCC）与潍坊市呼吸临床医院（WRDH）获取的1445株结核分枝杆菌分离株进行了全基因组测序。
