SAFE STRIP Pilot Experiments extensive dataset

This dataset includes messages sent from ORU (On-Road Unit) to RSB (Road Side Bridge) and from RSB to Vehicles. Data has been collected from use-case scenarios implemented in experimental testing pilots in Italy and Spain. Different types of messages are sent by ORU to the RSB. The messages can be divided into two categories based on the way of transmission. There are messages transmitted periodically containing information about the weather road conditions and event-triggered messages containing information related to the detection of a vehicle or pedestrian on the road. ORU's collected information is enhanced with provided information by a multi-sensor connected to the RSB. Apart from the multi-sensor, a control unit placed on the road strain gauges provides information about the road condition to the RSB. Based on the type of vehicles (equipped or non-equipped), RSB communicates with them through appropriate messages sent to ITS-G5 or LTE network (MQTT Broker). A detailed description of the messages mentioned above is given in the "Annex C-data-description-template" file (please refer to the "Virtual VRU protection of Mobile Cooperative safety function in SAFE STRIP" dataset). The RSB log files of various use-case scenarios are available in the "SafeStrip Log Files" folder.本数据集包含由路侧单元（On-Road Unit，ORU）发送至路侧桥接器（Road Side Bridge，RSB），以及由RSB发送至车辆的各类通信消息。数据采集自意大利与西班牙开展的实验测试试点项目中的应用场景。ORU向RSB发送的消息类型多样，依据传输方式可划分为两类：一类为周期性传输消息，包含道路气象状况相关信息；另一类为事件触发型消息，包含道路上检测到车辆或行人的相关信息。ORU采集的信息会结合连接至RSB的多传感器所提供的信息进行增强处理。除多传感器外，部署于道路应变计上的控制单元也会向RSB提供道路状况相关信息。依据车辆是否配备通信模块，RSB将通过发送至ITS-G5或LTE网络（MQTT Broker）的适配消息与车辆进行通信。上述消息的详细说明可参见"Annex C-data-description-template"文件，请参阅"SAFE STRIP"数据集中"移动协同安全功能的虚拟弱势道路使用者保护"数据集。各类应用场景的RSB日志文件可在"SafeStrip Log Files"文件夹中获取。
