Reference quality genomes for key laboratory mouse strains from the EMBL-EBI/Wellcome Sanger Institute based Mouse Genomes Project.

In this study, we have produced reference quality chromosome scale genomes for both classical and wild derived inbred laboratory mouse genomes. These genomes were produced using third generation long reads and Hi-C. The genomes and gene annotation are also available via the Ensembl and UCSC genome browsers. The Mouse Genomes Project releases genome sequence data, SNPs and other variant calls as a service to the research community.

本研究针对经典实验室近交系小鼠与野生来源近交系小鼠，构建了达到参考质量标准的染色体规模基因组。上述基因组依托第三代长读长测序技术与Hi-C技术完成组装。该基因组及其基因注释信息可通过Ensembl与UCSC基因组浏览器公开获取。小鼠基因组计划（Mouse Genomes Project）面向全球科研社群，以公共服务形式发布基因组序列数据、单核苷酸多态性（Single Nucleotide Polymorphism，简称SNP）及其他变异检测结果。
