Post-traumatic joint contracture is the irreversible fibrosis and adhesion of surrounding tissues caused by joint trauma, resulting in joint contracture and stiffness. However, its mechanism is still indeterminate. Our previous research also found that the pathological characteristics of post-traumatic joint capsule fibrosis were closely related time-dependent. In this study, real-time transcriptomics was used to explore the gene-level changes and molecular responses of the articular capsule in rats at different time points after trauma.
