Gold(I)-Catalyzed Cascade Cyclization Reaction: Highly Regio- and Diastereoselective Intermolecular Addition of Water and Alcohols to Epoxy Alkynes

We have developed a novel access to ketal skeletons through a highly regio- and diastereoselective intermolecular addition of water and
alcohols to alkynyl epoxides catalyzed by gold(I). This procedure involves a domino three-membered ring-opening, 6-exo-cycloisomerization,
and subsequent intra- or intermolecular nucleophilic addition to a double-bond sequence.

我们开发了一种构建缩酮（ketal）骨架的全新合成策略：以一价金（gold(I)）为催化剂，实现水与醇对炔基环氧化物（alkynyl epoxides）的高区域选择性、高非对映选择性分子间加成反应。该反应过程涵盖串联三元环开环、6-外环环异构化，以及后续针对双键的分子内或分子间亲核加成的完整反应序列。
