PATHOMORPHOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF CHANGES IN SKIN STRUCTURES IN PLANTAR PSORIASIS
This article analyzes the pathomorphological changes of skin structures in plantar psoriasis. The study revealed pronounced hyperkeratosis, parakeratosis, acanthosis, shortening or loss of the granular layer, and elongation of epidermal ridges. The anatomical features of the plantar skin contribute to the specific clinical manifestations of these pathomorphological signs. The obtained data are of significant importance for a deeper understanding of the pathogenesis of plantar psoriasis and for improving differential diagnosis.
