Typical oxygen consumption trace obtained during our study using an Oroboros O2k depicting key mitochondrial respiration phases and measurements after the addition of blood cells (BC). a) Baseline respiration. b) Substrate-stimulated respiration after pyruvate addition (P). c) OXPHOS capacity (ATP-linked respiration). d) Leak respiration after oligomycin (OMY, ATP synthase inhibitor) addition. e) Electron Transport System (ETS) capacity following CCCP (uncoupler, U) titration. f) Non-mitochondrial respiration after antimycin A (AMA, Complex III inhibitor) addition, used for background subtraction.

本研究中采用奥罗波若斯O2k(Oroboros O2k)采集的典型耗氧轨迹,展示了添加血细胞(blood cells, BC)后的关键线粒体呼吸阶段与对应测量结果,各阶段如下: a) 基础呼吸 b) 添加丙酮酸(pyruvate)后的底物刺激呼吸,标记为P c) 氧化磷酸化(OXPHOS)容量(ATP偶联呼吸) d) 添加寡霉素(oligomycin, OMY,ATP合酶抑制剂)后的漏出呼吸 e) 经羰基氰化物间氯苯腙(CCCP,解偶联剂U)滴定后的电子传递系统(ETS)容量 f) 添加抗霉素A(antimycin A, AMA,复合物III抑制剂)后的非线粒体呼吸,用于背景扣除
