Census Blocks Updated (2010)

This polygon shapefile contains the census 2010 blocks in the SPC region. Census blocks are the smallest unit for census data collection, and are used as " building blocks " for the other geographic boundaries used by the Census Bureau. In an urban setting, blocks are commonly the length of one city block, but are larger in more rural areas and are defined by features such as roads, streams, and railroads.本多边形形状文件（shapefile）包含SPC区域内的2010年人口普查区块。人口普查区块是人口普查数据采集的最小单元，同时被美国人口普查局（Census Bureau）用作构建其他地理边界的“基础单元”。在城市区域中，区块通常对应单个城市街区的尺度，但在农村地区面积更大，其边界由道路、溪流与铁路等地物划定。
