To explore the possibility for having mutants exhibiting high biomass yield under low85 illumination conditions in C. reinhardtii, we performed screens for insertional mutants86 exhibiting high biomass yield from a pool of >1,000 individual insertional mutant strains.87 Through 30-40 cycles of continuous subcultures, we isolated 3 strains exhibiting high cell-88 culture density HCD phenotype under low illumination growth conditions.
为探究莱茵衣藻(C. reinhardtii)在低光照条件下获得高生物量产量突变体的可行性,我们从包含超过1000株独立插入突变体菌株的突变体库中,筛选出具有高生物量产量的插入突变体。经过30至40轮连续继代培养,我们在低光照生长条件下分离得到3株呈现高细胞培养密度(HCD)表型的菌株。
