Size 81/2 in. by 43/4 in.; foll. 108. Twenty-one lines in a page. Notes to the earlier portion of the above Glosses of Saiyid Sharîf, by ‘Abd al-ḥakîm b. Shams al-dîn SIYÂLKÛTÎ (d. soon after A.H. 1060). These notes have been printed at Dehli, 1870. The Preface begins: احلى منطقا افصح به لسان الفصحاء‘ واولى مدركا ارتسم فى اذهان الاذكياء‘ حمد اله الخ The author states in it that he wrote these notes by the advice of his father, and he dedicates his work to Shâhjahân. The note is: قوله هكذا وجدنا الخ كذا مركب من كاف التشبيه الخ. Well written, but left unfinished.
