Morphological and Molecular Characterization of Nepalese Common Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) Landraces

This dataset contains raw and processed data supporting the study on genetic and phenotypic diversity of 58 common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) landraces. It includes morphological trait measurements (both qualitative and quantitative), SSR marker allele-based data, and metadata describing all variables used in the study. The dataset also provides information on the collection of 58 landraces from 24 districts of Nepal. Morphological data include both individual observations and summarized values (means), along with detailed descriptions of qualitative and quantitative traits and their measurement protocols. Molecular data consist of SSR marker profiles used for genetic diversity analysis. These datasets were used to perform statistical analyses including principal component analysis (PCA), principal coordinate analysis (PCoA), analysis of molecular variance (AMOVA), population structure analysis, cluster analysis, and diversity assessment.

本数据集包含支撑58份普通菜豆（Phaseolus vulgaris L.）地方品种遗传与表型多样性研究的原始数据与预处理后数据。其涵盖形态性状测量数据（包含定性与定量两类）、基于简单重复序列（Simple Sequence Repeats，SSR）标记等位基因的分型数据，以及本研究中所用全部变量的元数据。本数据集还提供了从尼泊尔24个地区收集的58份地方品种的相关采集信息。形态学数据包含单株观测值与汇总均值，同时附有定性、定量性状的详细说明及其测量规程。分子数据则包含用于遗传多样性分析的SSR标记分型数据。上述数据集被用于开展多项统计分析，包括主成分分析（PCA）、主坐标分析（PCoA）、分子方差分析（AMOVA）、群体结构分析、聚类分析以及多样性评估。
