Mature fruit of mutant HP kumquat with abnormal oil gland development and wild type RA kumquat were inoculated with Penicillium italicum in the peel, and peel samples of 0d and 48h after inoculation of both cultivars were obtained for RNAseq. As HP kumquat showed smaller lesion diameter than RA kumquat of the same infection period, this study aims at investigating the difference of gene expression profiles between HP kumquat and RA kumquat, especially the defense response related genes specially upregulated in HP kumquat after fungi infection.

将油腺发育异常的突变体HP金柑(HP kumquat)与野生型RA金柑(RA kumquat)的成熟果实,在果皮部位接种意大利青霉(Penicillium italicum),并采集两个品种接种后0天与48小时的果皮样本用于RNA测序(RNAseq)。鉴于相同侵染周期内HP金柑的病斑直径小于RA金柑,本研究旨在探究二者的基因表达谱差异,重点关注真菌侵染后HP金柑中特异性上调表达的防御反应相关基因。
