Original image stacks for descriptions of fossil mites Levantoglyphus sidorchukae n. gen. and sp. from Cretaceous amber of Lebanon (ca. 129 Ma). Two specimens in a finely polished piece of amber are embedded in epoxy between two glass coverslips.<br>Compound microscopes Nikon E-800 with water immersion optics (40x and 60x), Zeiss AxioImager A2 with dry (40x, 63x) and oil immersion optics (100x), Leica DM 2500 LED (40x, 100x). Brightfield, phase contrast, polarized and differential interference contrast and incident illumination were used. Stacks of images, comprising multiple focal planes, were obtained with digital cameras Olympus OM-D E-M10II on the Nikon microscope, Zeiss Axiocam 506 color, Hitachi KP-HD20A on the Zeiss microscope, and Leica DMC4500 on the Leica microscope.<br>Stacks were corrected for color, brightness and noise with Adobe Lightroom, then exported to JPEG format. <br><br>本数据集为黎巴嫩白垩纪琥珀（约1.29亿年）中莱万特螨属西多伦科莱万特螨（Levantoglyphus sidorchukae）新属新种的描述所用的原始图像堆栈。一件经精细抛光的琥珀标本内含两个螨类个体，该琥珀被封装于两片玻璃盖玻片之间的环氧树脂中。 成像所用的复合显微镜包括：带水浸物镜（40倍、60倍）的尼康（Nikon）E-800显微镜；带干镜（40倍、63倍）及油浸物镜（100倍）的蔡司（Zeiss）AxioImager A2显微镜；以及徕卡（Leica）DM 2500 LED显微镜（40倍、100倍）。成像模式涵盖明场照明、相差成像、偏光成像、微分干涉差成像及落射照明。 通过配套数码相机采集包含多个焦平面的图像堆栈：尼康显微镜搭配奥林巴斯（Olympus）OM-D E-M10II数码相机，蔡司显微镜搭配蔡司Axiocam 506 color数码相机及日立（Hitachi）KP-HD20A数码相机，徕卡显微镜搭配徕卡DMC4500数码相机。 所有图像堆栈均通过Adobe Lightroom进行色彩、亮度及噪声校正，随后导出为JPEG格式文件。
