钩端螺旋体病（Leptospirosis）与布鲁氏菌病（Brucellosis）均为潜在的发热性细菌性人畜共患病，主要波及包括坦桑尼亚在内的资源匮乏的热带及亚热带国家。此类疾病具有重要的公共卫生意义，尤其在坦桑尼亚的农村地区。本研究旨在明确就诊于某医院的发热患者中，钩端螺旋体病与布鲁氏菌病的血清阳性率（sero-prevalence）。
