Bacterial metagenome in plaque, saliva, and tumor of individuals with and without oral squamous cell carcinoma.

This study identified the metagenome of bacterial species in patients with and without oral squamous cell carcinoma in dental plaque, saliva, and tumor samples. DNA extraction, high-throughput sequencing, and data analysis using various bioinformatics tools were performed to identify bacteria assoicated with dsbiosis and development of oral squamous cell carcinoma.

本研究对牙菌斑、唾液及肿瘤样本中的细菌物种宏基因组（metagenome）进行了系统性分析，研究对象包含口腔鳞状细胞癌（oral squamous cell carcinoma）患者与健康对照个体。
本研究通过DNA提取、高通量测序（high-throughput sequencing）及多种生物信息学工具开展数据分析，旨在鉴定与菌群失调（dysbiosis）及口腔鳞状细胞癌发生发展相关的细菌物种。
