This file contains the raw phenotypic data of leaf inclination measurements performed with a poro-fluorometer LI-600N inclinometer (LI-COR Inc., Lincoln, NE, USA), with one value per individual leaf of the grapevine diversity panel (in total 6 values per cultivar in each block). “QrCode” is the unique identifier used to retrieve the cultivar name from the dataset “p279_PechRouge_2024_identification.csv”. The column “Inclination” is the inclination of the leaf relative to the horizontal plane (°), calculated from the columns “pitch”, slope from horizontal (°), and “roll”, rotation from the horizontal (°), as inclination = acos(cos(pitch) x cos(roll)) (Escribano‐Rocafort et al., 2014). “Date” is the date of measurement and “Time” the solar time of measurement. Air temperature (“Tref”, in °C), relative humidity (“rh_r”, in %) and air vapour pressure (“VPref”, in kPa), were measured by the device at the leaf level at the same time as leaf inclination. This file was used in the R script “BLUPs_extraction_all_traits.Rmd” to explore the variability of leaf inclination and extract genotypic values (BLUPs) using mixed models with fixed effects including climatic effects.
