These are the large-eddy simulation data, the ocean mixed-layer model results, and the inverse estimation results, which are used in a paper draft "Improvement of the Ocean Mixed-Layer Model via Large-Eddy Simulation and Inverse Estimation".<br>The large-eddy simulation data are obtained via PALM (https://palm.muk.uni-hannover.de/trac).The ocean mixed-layer model (Noh and Kim 1999, Noh et al. 2016) results are obtained using its original, perturbed (for sensitivity tests), and optimized versions.<br>The ocean mixed-layer model data include the temperature, horizontal velocities, turbulent kinetic energy (TKE), turbulent vertical fluxes, the mixed layer depths, and theTKE budget terms. The LES data include the mixed layer depths and the TKE budget terms. The data are in netCDF and text formats.<br>Most large-eddy simulations have been carried out on the supercomputer system supported by the National Center for Meteorological Supercomputer of Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA).
本数据集包含大涡模拟(Large-Eddy Simulation,LES)数据、海洋混合层模型结果与逆估计结果,均用于论文草稿《基于大涡模拟与逆估计改进海洋混合层模型》。
本次所用大涡模拟数据通过PALM模型获取(https://palm.muk.uni-hannover.de/trac)。
本次所用海洋混合层模型(引用Noh与Kim 1999年、Noh等人2016年研究成果)的结果,通过其原始版本、扰动版本(用于敏感性试验)与优化版本生成。
海洋混合层模型数据集包含温度、水平流速、湍流动能(Turbulent Kinetic Energy,TKE)、湍流垂直通量、混合层深度以及TKE收支项。
大涡模拟数据集则包含混合层深度与TKE收支项。本数据集采用netCDF与文本两种格式存储。
本次多数大涡模拟试验均依托韩国气象厅(Korea Meteorological Administration,KMA)国家气象超算中心支撑的超级计算机系统完成。
