Comparison between digital and live exhibitions by visitors worldwide 2021

According to a 2021 global survey, in-person exhibitions and trade shows were preferred over online events across nine out of the ten studied aspects. For instance, 87 percent of respondents said that live events were better to make a new connection by chance or for networking. The only aspect where survey participants found that virtual events had an advantage was the cost of attending.
