We analyzed pore-water sulfate and Fe(II), headspace methane and its δ¹³C, bulk organic carbon and its δ¹³C, grain-size distributions, major elements (Fe, Al, Ti, Ca), reactive Fe, TOC, iron-bound organic carbon (Fe-OC), and Fe speciation in sediments retrieved from the Haima cold seep in the northern South China Sea to quantify the impact of anaerobic oxidation of methane (AOM) on Fe-OC.
本研究对取自南海北部海马冷泉的沉积物样品开展了系统分析,检测指标包括孔隙水硫酸盐、亚铁离子(Fe(II))、顶空气甲烷及其碳同位素δ¹³C、块状有机碳及其δ¹³C、粒度分布、常量元素(Fe、Al、Ti、Ca)、活性铁、总有机碳(TOC)、铁结合态有机碳(iron-bound organic carbon, Fe-OC)以及铁形态,以此定量评估甲烷厌氧氧化(Anaerobic Oxidation of Methane, AOM)对铁结合态有机碳的影响。
