This study investigated the regulatory mechanism of CMT3 mediated CHG methylation in A. thaliana. Whole-genome bisulfite sequencing of CMT3 and CMT3 mutants to determine genome-wide levels of CHG methylation and the effect on DNA methylation of making point mutations to CMT3.
