microRNA annotation and expression analyses in the Weddell Seal (L. Weddellii)

In this study, we investigate the possibility that post-transcriptional gene regulation by microRNAs has significantly contributed to the adaptive evolution of diving capacities in the Weddell Seal. We provide the first microRNA annotation in this species, consisting of high confidence, manually curated predictions, and an overview of their patterns of expression across 4 tissues
