Commercial monarch butterfly sequencing

We sequenced whole genomes of 15 monarch butterflies sourced from a commercial breeder. The sequences were compared with wild caught monarch population sequences from around the world to determine their ancestry.本研究对15只源自商业繁育机构的帝王斑蝶（monarch butterflies）开展全基因组测序，随后将所得序列与全球范围内野生捕获的帝王斑蝶种群序列进行比对，以解析其血统起源。
