资源简介:
Perceiving color stimuli can influence psychological functioning including cognitive performance. Several studies have shown that seeing red color prior to an intelligence test impais test performance as compared to seeing other colors. Even simply processing the word red has been shown to yield effects that are comparable to actually seeing a red stimulus. The aim of this preregistered experiment is to examine the effect of reading the word red as compared to two control colors (gray, green) on a subsequent achievement test in an adult sample of the general population. Respondents will be randomly assigned to one of three color conditions and work on a general knowledge test. It is expected that red color will result in lower test as compared to the other colors. other
