# **attendance of museums of the Department of Isère** * * * * ** ** Since its creation, the museum network of the Department of Isère has evolved over the years (redevelopment of permanent routes, opening of new museums) to stabilise at 11 museums in 2021. Its particularity? **free** and **diversity** of all sites! Rich in prestigious collections, these 11 museums are all housed in exceptional heritage buildings often protected as historical monuments. They present to visitors the great diversity of the Iseroese heritage, whether archaeological, industrial, rural or artistic. They also offer workshops, conferences, meetings, temporary exhibitions, screenings and many other animations.
