To comprehensively annotate genes of Tetrahymena macronuclear genome, we collected extensive transcriptomic data spanning various cell stages. In addition, to better ascertain the transcripts orientation and the transcription start/end sites, we incorporated strand-specific transcriptomic data and epigenetic data including the histone modification H3 lysine 4 tri-methylation (H3K4me3), the histone variant H2A.Z, nucleosome positioning, N6-methyldeoxyadenine (6mA), and chromatin accessibility.
