16S rRNA gene sequencing of feces of neonates with neonatal respiratory distress syndrome

To delineate the gut microbiota variations in neonates with neonatal respiratory distress syndrome (NRDS) and assess their implications on neonatal development, we conducted a prospective cohort study involving 13 neonates diagnosed with NRDS and 12 preterm infants (PTI) without NRDS. Fecal specimens were collected until to a month post-birth to appraise gut microbiota evolution.为阐明新生儿呼吸窘迫综合征（neonatal respiratory distress syndrome, NRDS）患儿的肠道菌群（gut microbiota）变化特征，并评估其对新生儿生长发育的潜在影响，本研究开展了一项前瞻性队列研究，纳入13例确诊为NRDS的新生儿以及12例未罹患NRDS的早产儿（preterm infants, PTI）。研究于受试者出生后1个月内采集粪便标本，以评估肠道菌群的动态演化进程。
