Bird feeding preference DATA

Data and Metadata of bird feeding preferences tested at York University in Toronto ON. Feeding preferences observed through the use of red,yellow,and green colored bird seed and five distances from bird occupied trees from 1, 5, 10, 15 and 20m away. Weight of seed is measured after 2 hours of observation and recorded from a 30g reference. Distance is held constant at 1, 5, 10, 15 and 20m of a bird occupied tree.

本数据集为加拿大安大略省多伦多市约克大学鸟类进食偏好测试的相关数据与元数据。实验通过使用红、黄、绿三色鸟食，并设置距鸟类栖息树木1、5、10、15、20米共五个距离梯度，观测鸟类进食偏好；于观测时长2小时后称量剩余种子重量，并以30克为参照基准完成记录；每次测试中，距栖息树木的距离均固定为上述五个数值。
