Bathymetry grid of northern part of Jervis Bay survey area

Geoscience Australia carried out marine surveys in Jervis Bay (NSW) in 2007, 2008 and 2009 (GA303, GA305, GA309, GA312) to map seabed bathymetry and characterise benthic environments through colocated sampling of surface sediments (for textural and biogeochemical analysis) and infauna, observation of benthic habitats using underwater towed video and stills photography, and measurement of ocean tides and wavegenerated currents. Data and samples were acquired using the Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO) Research Vessel Kimbla. Bathymetric mapping, sampling and tide/wave measurement were concentrated in a 3x5 km survey grid (named Darling Road Grid, DRG) within the southern part of the Jervis Bay, incorporating the bay entrance. Additional sampling and stills photography plus bathymetric mapping along transits was undertaken at representative habitat types outside the DRG. jb_n is an ArcINFO grid of northern part of Jervis Bay survey area produced from the processed EM3002 bathymetry data using the CARIS HIPS and SIPS software. This dataset is a contribution to the CERF Marine Biodiversity Hub.

海底地形测深制图、采样及潮汐/浪流测量工作集中于杰维斯湾南部的3×5千米勘测网格——达令路网格（Darling Road Grid, DRG），该网格覆盖湾口区域。项目组还在达令路网格之外的典型生境类型区域沿航线开展了补充采样、静态摄影及地形测深制图工作。
jb_n是利用CARIS HIPS与SIPS软件处理EM3002测深数据后生成的杰维斯湾北部勘测区域的ArcINFO网格数据。本数据集为CERF海洋生物多样性中心（CERF Marine Biodiversity Hub）的贡献成果。
