This study aims to investigate the effects of the microbial source from 5 soil types collected across different geographical locations in Japan on the assemblage of endophytic bacterial communities in rice roots. Rice plants were grown in a hydroponic were inoculated with indigenous bacterial communities from five different soil types and. After 3 and 6 weeks, the endophytic bacterial communities in the rice roots were determined using the Illumina Miseq-based 16SrRNA gene amplicon sequencing method.
本研究旨在探究日本不同地理区域采集的5种土壤的微生物源对水稻根系内生细菌群落(endophytic bacterial communities)组装的影响。将水稻植株种植于水培体系中,并接种源自五种不同土壤类型的土著细菌群落。在培育3周和6周后,采用基于Illumina Miseq的16S rRNA基因扩增子测序(16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing)法对水稻根系中的内生细菌群落进行测定。
