At the majority of the sampling locations, 4 snow profiles in a triangle setup (one profile in the center surrounded by the others with 10m spacing) have been sampled. The common sampling setup is attached as a figure (see "Further details"). At some locations, there are less samples available or the central profile was deepened to 4m.Measurement quality statement:CRDS: Precision for δ18O of <0.1‰IC: Normative precision of <10% for anions, <20% for cations.We report quality (accuracy) issues for Ca2+, Mg2+ and K+ concentrations in the IC system.Ca2+, Mg2+ and K+ concentrations are significantly lower than those measured by other methods, especially for low concentrations (<30ppb).The exact cause of this under-recovery is still under investigation.
在绝大多数采样点位,均采用三角布设方案采集4条雪芯剖面:以1条剖面为中心,其余3条剖面以10米间距环绕中心布设。标准采样布设方案以附图形式呈现(详见"Further details")。部分采样点位的有效样品数量较少,或中心剖面的采样深度加深至4米。
测量质量说明:腔环谐光谱法(CRDS):针对δ¹⁸O的测量精度优于0.1‰;离子色谱法(IC):阴离子的标称测量精度优于10%,阳离子则优于20%。
本数据集提及离子色谱系统中Ca²+、Mg²+及K+浓度的质量(准确度)偏差问题:Ca²+、Mg²+与K+的测量浓度显著低于其他方法的测定结果,尤其在浓度低于30ppb的样品中偏差更为明显。该回收率偏低现象的具体成因目前仍在研究中。
