WAMSI - Montgomery Reef Heritage Assessment

A range of physical, chemical and biological data was collected during four approximately week- long trips from June to September 2008.\n\nTwo temperature- pressure loggers sampling at 30 s intervals (SBE39, Seabird Electronics) were deployed from 27 June 2008 to 26 August 2008 near Champagney and MacIntyre Islands in 23 m and 22.7 m of water, respectively.\n\nHydrographic surveys of temperature, salinity (SBE19plus, Seabird Electronics) , turbidity and chlorophyll a fluorescence via repeated boat-based transects were completed over the Camden Sound/ Montgomery Reef area during four approximately week-long trips:\n\n- Trip 1: 27/06/08 – 02/07/08;\n- Trip 2: 31/07/08 – 04/08/08;\n- Trip 3: 25/08/08 – 29/08/08 and;\n- Trip 4: 17/09/08 – 22/09/08. \n\nThe total number of casts collected was approximately 200.2008年6月至9月，研究团队通过4次为期约一周的野外考察，采集了多组物理、化学及生物学相关数据。 2008年6月27日至8月26日，于尚帕格尼岛（Champagney）与麦金泰尔岛（MacIntyre）附近水域，分别部署了2台采样间隔为30秒的温压记录仪（SBE39，海鸟电子公司（Seabird Electronics）），两处部署水域水深分别为23米与22.7米。 在4次为期约一周的考察航次期间，针对卡姆登湾/蒙哥马利礁（Camden Sound/ Montgomery Reef）区域，通过多次乘船走航断面观测，完成了温度、盐度（SBE19plus，海鸟电子公司（Seabird Electronics））、浊度及叶绿素a荧光的水文调查： - 航次1：2008年6月27日—7月2日； - 航次2：2008年7月31日—8月4日； - 航次3：2008年8月25日—8月29日； - 航次4：2008年9月17日—9月22日。 本次调查共完成约200个水文测站观测。
