<b>Draft genome and transcriptome assembly of the Antarctic marine flatworm Obrimoposthia wandeli</b>

Obrimoposthia wandeli is the most abundant marine planarian observed in the intertidal zone of the maritime Antarctic region and is presumed to have adapted to the harsh conditions of the Southern Ocean. However, genomic studies on marine flatworms remain extremely limited, with only one marine planarian genome currently available in public databases. Here, we present the first draft genome and de novo transcriptome assembly of O. wandeli from Antarctica, providing a valuable genomic resource for the study of flatworm biology and environmental adaptation.万德利奥布里莫扁形虫（Obrimoposthia wandeli）是南极滨海区域潮间带中观测到的丰度最高的海洋涡虫（marine planarian），据推测其已适应南大洋的严酷环境。然而，针对海洋扁形动物的基因组研究仍极为匮乏，目前公共数据库中仅存有1份海洋涡虫的基因组数据。本研究首次报道了南极产该物种的草图基因组（draft genome）与从头转录组组装（de novo transcriptome assembly）结果，为扁形动物生物学及环境适应性研究提供了宝贵的基因组资源。
