Summary of the three datasets used to compare the biomass packing of different plant communities and their responses to external drivers.

Aboveground biomass (AB) is the amount of dry standing plant tissue per unit area, while stand height (H) is the average height of canopy plants within the stand. Average photosynthetic height of canopy plants was used for herbaceous stands, whereas Lorey’s height was used for forest stands.地上生物量（Aboveground biomass, AB）指单位面积内的干燥直立植物组织总量，而林分树高（stand height, H）指林分内冠层植物的平均高度。对于草本林分，采用冠层植物的平均光合高度；对于森林林分，则使用洛雷树高（Lorey’s height）。
