Novel RNA viruses within plant parasitic cyst nematodes

RNA of soybean cyst nematode (SCN) pre-parasitic second-stage juveniles was sequenced to identify novel viruses infecting SCN. Inbred populations OP25 and OP50 were both sequenced. Host ribosomal RNA was depleted before sequencing via Illumina MiSeq to increase coverage of potential viruses.为鉴定侵染大豆胞囊线虫（soybean cyst nematode, SCN）的新型病毒，本研究对该线虫寄生前二期幼虫的RNA进行了测序。研究分别对近交种群OP25与OP50开展了测序。测序前通过Illumina MiSeq平台去除宿主核糖体RNA（ribosomal RNA, rRNA），以提升潜在病毒的测序覆盖度。
