Formulating a diet with adequate amounts of physically effective fiber to prevent ruminal acidosis while supplying enough energy and nutrients is crucial in high-producing dairy cattle, but not easy to reach. The current research developed and validated practical and feasible models based on easily measureable dietary factors combined with cow data to predict the risk of subacute ruminal acidosis in dairy cattle.

配制含有足量物理有效纤维(physically effective fiber)、同时供给充足能量与营养的日粮,对于预防高产奶牛的瘤胃酸中毒(ruminal acidosis)至关重要,但实际达成难度较大。本研究基于易于测定的日粮因素结合奶牛相关数据,开发并验证了兼具实用性与可行性的模型,用以预测高产奶牛亚急性瘤胃酸中毒(subacute ruminal acidosis)的发病风险。
