Delphinapterus leucas skin transcriptome sequencing and assembly

Skin samples were collected from the beluga populations of Bristol Bay and Chukchi Sea (Point Lay) in Alaska. RNA sequencing was performed on Illumina NextSeq500 and de novo transcriptome assembly was carried out on RNA-seq data by using Trinity software.

本数据集的皮肤样本采集自阿拉斯加布里斯托尔湾与楚科奇海（莱伊角）的白鲸种群。随后采用Illumina NextSeq500平台完成样本的RNA测序（RNA sequencing），并借助Trinity软件对所得RNA-seq数据开展从头转录组组装（de novo transcriptome assembly）。
