Rhodanobacter species dominate in the Oak Ridge Reservation (ORR) site contaminated with acids, nitrate, metal radionuclides, and other heavy metals. To uncover the genomic features underlying adaptations to the environment and to guide genetic tool development, we sequenced the whole genomes of eight Rhodanobacter strains isolated from the ORR site.

红杆菌属（Rhodanobacter）是被酸、硝酸盐、金属放射性核素及其他重金属污染的橡树岭保留地（Oak Ridge Reservation, ORR）的优势菌群。为揭示该菌适应此环境的基因组特征并指导遗传工具开发，我们对从该ORR场地分离得到的8株红杆菌属菌株进行了全基因组测序。
