The ASCA July 2016 (SEAmester I) Scientific Data System averaged into ten minute bins

The Agulhas System Climate Array (ACSA) is a mooring array and is designed to provide long-term observations of the Agulhas Current`s volume, heat and salt transport and its variability from mesoscale (eddies), through seasonal to interannual timescales. The ASCA shelf and tall moorings extend 200 km offshore along decending TOPEX/Jason satellite ground track # 96, through the core of the Agulhas Current, with CPIES measurements extending the array to 300 km offshore of Port Elizabeth. The data collected during this project have been obtained from various oceanographic instrumentation. This processed data was collected by the underway Scientific Data System (SDS) and averaged into ten minute bins. The SDS system is designed to collect, integrate, log and display various scientific, navigational and meterological sensors, instruments and systems onboard the ship.

阿古拉斯系统气候阵列（Agulhas System Climate Array, ACSA）是一套锚泊观测阵列，旨在长期监测阿古拉斯海流的体积、热量与盐度输运及其变化特征，观测尺度覆盖中尺度（涡旋）、季节尺度至年际时间尺度。该阵列的陆架锚泊与深水锚泊装置沿TOPEX/Jason卫星地面轨迹#96的下降轨道向海延伸200公里，贯穿阿古拉斯海流核心区域；CPIES测量设备将观测阵列拓展至伊丽莎白港外海300公里处。本项目采集的数据源自各类海洋观测仪器。经处理的数据由走航式科学数据系统（Scientific Data System, SDS）采集，并以10分钟为分箱进行平均整合。该系统旨在采集、整合、记录并显示船舶搭载的各类科学、导航与气象传感器、仪器及系统。
