Visitation of the Virgin

This is a modern copy of the original marble relief that is a part of the Capella del Voto in Siena Cathedral, Italy. It shows the scene when Mary visits her relative Elizabeth as they are both pregnant: Mary with Jesus, and Elizabeth with John the Baptist.本件作品为意大利锡耶纳大教堂（Siena Cathedral）内原藏大理石浮雕的现代复制品，该浮雕隶属于誓愿小堂（Capella del Voto）。其刻画了圣母玛利亚（Mary）拜访其亲属伊丽莎白（Elizabeth）的场景，彼时二人皆已身怀六甲：玛利亚怀中为耶稣（Jesus），伊丽莎白怀中则为施洗约翰（John the Baptist）。
