Cow udder bacterial community

Description of the bacterial community of cows' udders with subclinical or latent mastitis. Samples were collected as sterile as possible from both the milk cistern and the teat canal. Milk cistern samples were collected by inserting a milking tube into each teat individually and sampling 45 ml milk. Teat canal samples were sampled by inserting a small swab into the teat.
