Compare the effectiveness of muscle energy technique and kinesiotaping in addition to conventional physiotherapy in patients with mechanical sacroiliac joint dysfunction. Our research hypothesis was to find out which treatment technique is more effective in above condition. Here, Participants age, height, weight, Body mass index were compared at baseline. Pain pressure threshold (PPT), Hand held dynamometer (HHD) and Modified oswestry disability index (MODI) were taken at baseline and after 2 week and after 4th week of intervention. Total 30 participants recruited according to selection criteria. After analysis we concluded that Muscle energy technique is more effective than kinesiotaping in mechanical sacroiliac joint dysfunction.

本研究旨在对比在常规物理治疗基础上,联合肌肉能量技术(muscle energy technique)与肌内效贴(kinesiotaping)治疗机械性骶髂关节功能障碍(mechanical sacroiliac joint dysfunction)患者的临床疗效。本研究的核心假说为明确上述两种治疗技术中哪种对该病症更具临床有效性。研究基线阶段对受试者的年龄、身高、体重及身体质量指数进行了基线对比分析。分别于基线、干预后2周及干预后4周时,对受试者的疼痛压力阈值(pain pressure threshold,PPT)、手持肌力测试仪(Hand held dynamometer,HHD)检测结果与改良奥斯华斯特利功能障碍指数(Modified Oswestry Disability Index,MODI)进行采集评估。本研究共按照入选标准招募30名受试者。经数据分析后得出结论:肌肉能量技术用于治疗机械性骶髂关节功能障碍的临床疗效优于肌内效贴。
