Materials Data on LaYPd2 by Materials Project

LaYPd2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two LaYPd2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. La is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pd atoms. Both La–Pd bond lengths are 2.43 Å. Y is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pd atoms. Both Y–Pd bond lengths are 2.77 Å. Pd is bonded in a linear geometry to one La and one Y atom.

LaYPd₂晶体结晶于正交晶系的Immm空间群。该结构为一维型，包含两条沿(1, 0, 0)方向取向的LaYPd₂带状结构。La原子以线性配位构型与两个等价的Pd原子成键，两条La-Pd键的键长均为2.43 Å。Y原子同样以线性配位构型与两个等价的Pd原子成键，两条Y-Pd键的键长均为2.77 Å。Pd原子以线性配位构型分别与一个La原子和一个Y原子成键。
