Data underlying the publication: Historic assessment of groundwater sustainability

We conducted a global assessment of sustainable groundwater head declines between 1984-2018. Additionally, we compared our estimates of sustainable head declines with observations and simulations of historic groundwater head and abstractions. Our findings are presented at 5-arcmin gridcells and aggregated over global aquifers. The data was processed from the model output and analyzed using R. Therefore, the data provided here is meant to be used in the same manner.

本研究开展了1984年至2018年间全球可持续地下水位水头降幅评估。此外，本研究将所估算的可持续地下水位水头降幅，与历史地下水位水头及地下水抽取量的观测与模拟结果进行了对比。本研究的结果以5角分（5-arcmin）网格单元形式呈现，并按全球含水层进行聚合汇总。本数据集源自模型输出结果的处理流程，并通过R语言完成分析。因此，本数据集的使用方式应与上述研究流程一致。
