Image Processing On Line: Scientific Journal, Source Code Included

2012 SIAM Conference on Imaging Science MS72 Publishing Reproducible Science and Software Image Processing On Line (IPOL) publishes image algorithms with an attention to reproducibility: the description and the implementation are peer-reviewed and published under free licenses, the software must be reusable, and a web test and archive interface allows extensive exploration of the algorithm. With different publication procedures and tools, new constraints, and new benefits for researchers, the notions of quality and usefulness of a research article are reevaluated.2012年国际工业与应用数学学会（SIAM）成像科学会议MS72专场：可复现科学与软件出版。在线图像处理（Image Processing On Line，IPOL）期刊以可复现性为核心出版图像算法：算法的描述与实现均经过同行评审，并以自由许可协议发布，软件需具备可复用性，配套的网页测试与归档界面可支持对算法的全方位探索。相较于传统出版流程与工具，该平台带来了全新的约束条件与研究者收益，也促使研究论文的质量与实用性评判标准得到重新评估。
