These records provide salary and leave histories and a record of entitlements of the employees of the Office of the Secretary. They are the only extant record for these employees.Content of the records includes personal information such as the name of the employee, address, phone number, date of birth, marital status, number of dependants, next of kin, and a file number. Academic information is also listed, being the school standard attained, and any tertiary qualifications. Previous occupational experience is also included.Salary information is restricted to variations in pay only, and includes the date of pay variation, the reason (eg. promotion, National Wage Case, Award agreement, etc.) and the new rate of pay.The flip side of each page contains information on absences and sick leave. The information given includes the date(s) of sick leave, reason or remarks, and the balance of sick leave available. The same information is recorded for annual leave and long service leave entitlements.
