Data and code used for the manuscript "A limit to sustained performance constrains trill length in birdsong"

Four data set are presented in this study:
behavioral.response.playback: includes the raw data for the playback experiment regarding the approach behaviour of male territorial blue tits in response to playback stimulation
vocal.response.playback: includes the raw data for the playback experiment regarding the vocal behaviour of male territorial blue tits in response to playback stimulation
multi-species.trill.data: measures of all three vocal performance variables for each individual in our sample, including 597 different species

本研究共包含四个数据集：
行为响应回放（behavioral.response.playback）数据集：收录了针对雄性领地蓝山雀在回放刺激下趋近行为的回放实验原始数据；
发声响应回放（vocal.response.playback）数据集：收录了针对雄性领地蓝山雀在回放刺激下发声行为的回放实验原始数据；
多物种鸣啭数据（multi-species.trill.data）数据集：包含本研究样本中所有个体的三项发声性能变量测量值，共涵盖597个不同物种。
