Differential gene expression in the gonads of Scylla olivacea infected with Sacculina beauforti

Transcriptome profiles of normal and sacculinid-infected Scylla olivacea. Upon infection, Sacculina beauforti causes morphological and physiological changes, including feminisation effects in both males and females of mud crab Scylla olivacea. Here, we are interested to know how these changes occur upon infection.

本数据集为正常及被蟹奴科（Sacculinidae）生物感染的橄榄青蟹（Scylla olivacea）的转录组谱（Transcriptome profiles）。当被博福特蟹奴（Sacculina beauforti）感染后，橄榄青蟹会出现形态与生理层面的变化，包括雌雄个体均出现雌性化效应。本研究旨在阐明感染后此类变化的发生机制。
