Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Hadar str. SL485. This servoar causes infections in the US, and in Europeaan and African countries. Isolates belonging to this serovar are often resistant to multiple antimicrobials, including quinolones. It has been associated with large outbreaks and high rates of hospitalization and is becoming increasingly prevalent. This strain is an unknown isolate. Shotgun sequence was obtained from two libraries - a fosmid library (33-39 kb; 20,660 reads) and a small insert library (4-6 kb; 30,002 reads).
